BJ Britt

Biography

I would love to pitch you, the very talented  B.J. Britt, who is starred in Lifetime’s, (Emmy Nominated Writing) hit series, “UNreal.”  BJ played Darius Hill, the great looking, athletic bachelor who brought a new topic and genre to the show as the first black bachelor.  It was def a great season to watch!  BJ is now in the new FOX Fall series, “PITCH” which follows a young female pitcher (Kylie Bunbury) who defies the odds in becoming the first women to play in the big leagues.  BJ plays, “Will,” her older brother in the new series.  PITCH also stars, Mark Paul Gosselaar, Aly Larter and Mark Consuelos.  

BJ is also a part of  BET's romantic comedy,"Being Mary Jane,"he plays a lead role as Gabrielle Union's brother, "Paul Jr." out now! "Being Mary Jane" is a story about a successful, one woman show who plays  a TV anchor, she surrounds herself with a family that doesn't share her motivation.  This show juggles her life, work and her commitment to her family, set to be something different and fun for the network. The 3rd season is set to air on October 21st.  On top of that BJ is/was an agent on the hit ABC Drama, Marvel: “Agents of Shield.  BJ's character is agent,Triplett."

This North Carolina native has a history of credits underneath his belt, most recognized for his role on CW's "One Tree Hill," where he played "Devon," from 2003-2009 . Other appearances have included, "The Vampire Diaries,"  "Bones," and "Sons of Anarchy." to just name a few. B.J. has defintely made his mark in letting people know he has arrived and is planning on staying for a while.  Besides the credits on television, B.J. has also gotten his feet wet in a handful of movies, he starred in Jason Friedbergs and Aaron Seltzer's  20th Century Fox spoof, "Vampires Suck" that is based on the Twilight film series, where he played the role of Antoine, the vampire, the movie made an impressive 80 million dollars.  

Hailing from East Carolina University, where he studied theater arts, this star on the rise loves to travel, visit his family of 3 sisters and 1 brother, work out and spend time with the homeless.  He has a passion for helping the hungry, children and those less fortunate.  If it is taking part in a charity event, donating his time at food banks to help serve the homeless, he is very passionate about helping those in need.
